L-O-V-E

My Valentine is the world's best husband and dad!
Liam got a few things for being such a good love bug, including new crocs and an ella the elephant night light. This month we have been working on with Liam "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight."

We hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day, with extra love! Liam invited a few of his friends over for a playdate and boy did they play. Jase, Julia, Bennett, Brayden, Abigial, Eli and Amos had a great time. The mommas enjoyed each other's company as well with tea, coffee, PINK lemonade and sugar cookies.
Will got me the beautiful pink tulips pictured above- seriously Whole Foods has Nanz and Kraft beat by a long shot in the flower department :) He also got me a new Pandora Bead with little hearts on it- great job babe! I had a giftcard to J-crew so I used it and got him a new watch. We stayed in and I made chicken, pasta, squash, zucinni, fruit and sugar cookies.

We continued on with our making cards tradition and here is how they turned out:
Liam's aunt logan and cousin Jack made him a super cute shirt with a little red tie and heart with a L on it and of course he wore yesterday and got it dirty in about 10 minutes. I feel like I do more laundry now than when he was a newborn, I guess it comes with the territory of having a boy.

*** My father in law had to go to the hospital last night for his breathing, so if you think about it, please pray for them.

The First of Many...

Graduations.
Liam graduated from his first swim lessons "Diaper Dip". He got a diploma and everything... so cute. He learned to kick and depth perception, we sang silly songs and learned how to get in and out of the pool. It was extra fun to play with Tiffani and Jase. At his last lesson Will convinced me to dip him under (and he captured it on video.) I think it is so neat how God pieced the family together. Moms are just naturally more cautious and dads help us see children can handle more than we think.

10 Months Today

Liam trying to type his full name- William. He is so serious, I will be shocked if he grows up to be anything but a chemist :) *** It is a constant struggle to keep him away from cords and computers, I was sewing a project yesterday and used the computer to print off letters "mirrored" and left the computer out for a few minutes, he saw his opportunity and off he went! He typed 200 pages of AWQS. haha.

At ten months old, today, Liam is a busy- body. He brings so much joy to our home. We can hardly remember life without him. Crawling, cruising, finding new sounds his little mouth can make, making funny faces and giving kisses seem to be his favorite daytime activites. He also sprouted his second bottom tooth yesterday and the top two are right around the corner.

His sounds he tries to make are:

da-da
ma-ma
buh-buh
mmm
lots of squealing, screaming, etc.
I say he sounds like a puppy, Will is sticking with monkey :)

He moved up classes to the 12-18 month olds in the nursery at Mom's group today, because in the baby room the teachers said he was crawling all over the other babies!

In this past month Liam has celebrated both of his grandma's birthdays. And preperation for his first birthday party is underway.

He sleeps from 8:00 or 9:00pm to 8:00 or 9:00 am. And takes two naps a day.

The foods he loves:
berries, bananas, sweet potatoes, carrots, peanut butter, yogurt, cheese, avacados, whole-wheat bread, turkey, chicken and beans.
